Located in the heart of Historic downtown Opelika, Alabama, The 115-year-old building adds character and charm to your traditional family photos. From the original hard-wood floors and exposed brick walls to the modern, chic styling of the lighting and decor, there is nothing average about this studio.

“We love what we do. We love photography. We love capturing life as it happens. When I’m at a wedding I’m not just taking photos, I’m capturing moments in time that will never happen again. Preserving those for years to come,” owner Rob Smith says. “At the end of the day, if the mom looks back at the photos and sheds a tear, I’ve done my job. I want that mom to feel the same joy she felt in that moment on her daughter’s wedding day whether she’s looking at the pictures for the first time or for the four-hundredth time.”

July 18, 2009 was our perfect day! Alison and Flip Flop Foto magically captured our day and all the memories it holds for us. Each time we look at our pictures, we are taken back to an unforgetable day. Alison was more than a photographer. She was helpful with whatever needed to be done. She found the flowers, found the parents, dried our flowers, entertained us, made us laugh and was part of this perfect day. Thank you Alison. You did an incredible job well beyond any expectation.
